Chart analysis tools
AI chart analysis grounded in checkable market data.
AI chart analysis can make chart terminology easier to understand. The useful question is what data supports the explanation. ChartPro computes historical levels and patterns from fetched price bars, then uses those measurements as the basis for its chart reading.
What does AI chart analysis mean?
The term covers different workflows: interpreting a screenshot, discussing a table of prices, or explaining calculations produced by an analysis engine. Those inputs support different claims. An image can show a visible shape while leaving its precise prices, listing or timestamp unclear.
Start by checking the instrument, exchange, timeframe and latest data timestamp. A fluent paragraph does not by itself verify any of them.
How ChartPro separates measurement from explanation
ChartPro fetches price bars and computes levels, patterns and momentum readings on your device. Its level engine groups repeated swings and counts touches. Its pattern detector checks swing geometry. These calculations supply the measurements used in the reading.
The optional AI narration step receives computed facts and writes them in plain language. It does not receive the chart image or calculate new levels. The narration endpoint checks for unsupported numbers and advice language; rejected narration falls back to the deterministic chart reading. These checks constrain the prose, but do not make the feed or analysis infallible.
Example: follow a statement back to its source
Suppose a reading says a resistance area was tested repeatedly. First locate that area in the level list, then select it on the chart and inspect the qualifying turns. Confirm that the statement refers to the same instrument and interval you opened.
For a pattern description, inspect its swing structure and completion. If the relevant evidence is missing, leave the claim unverified. The wording is an explanation of the measurements, rather than additional evidence about the market.
What to check in an AI chart tool
- Inputs: does the tool identify the data it actually analyzed?
- Method: are prices calculated from bars or estimated from a picture?
- Evidence: can you inspect the turns behind a level or shape?
- Uncertainty: does the reading admit missing data and incomplete structures?
- Limits: does it distinguish historical measurements from future outcomes?

Explore a chart with ChartPro
Search by company or market name, confirm the listing, and inspect the levels and any qualifying patterns. Start with one measurement and check it against the chart before reading the explanation. Both Monthly and Annual include unlimited chart analysis; available plans are shown in the app.
Can AI establish what happens next?
A historical level, pattern fit or polished explanation does not establish the next price move. ChartPro is an educational chart-reading tool. Learn more about automatic level detection and chart pattern detection to understand what its measurements describe.
